Stacy Ruble has written successful U.S. Department of Justice, National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Education, and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services grant proposals totaling tens of millions of dollars, in addition to winning many state and local government and foundation grants. At the state level, Stacy has reviewed more than 1,000 grant applications.
Stacy started her grant career as Virginia's first Violence Against Women Act STOP Grant Administrator in 1995. Since then she has been chosen by numerous state and federal government departments to provide her programmatic expertise and eye for detail to assist in making grant determinations.
As a state grant administrator and grants manager for two statewide nonprofit organizations, Stacy has provided countless local and state entities with grant writing, program management, grant reporting, and programmatic and financial grant management assistance and training.
She also provides internal auditing services for clients, reviewing their policies and systems to ensure compliance with the federal Uniform Guidance and other regulations.
In 2015 Stacy received her Grant Professional Credential (GPC) from the national Grant Professionals Association and has served on the local chapter board since 2012.
