Miles specializes in winning Congressional earmarks and competitive federal grants. He joined Merchant McIntyre as an intern in 2023 and “played his way onto the team” to become a full-time member of the team in April of 2024.
Miles possesses a passion for serving nonprofits that feed people, house people, educate people, and heal people. During his internship, he supported multiple Congressional earmark requests and grant applications totaling more $6 million in federal funding wins.
Before joining MM, Miles worked as a Sports Information Assistant writing game stories, doing play-by-play, and keeping book at sporting events for Susquehanna University. This role helped teach him adaptability as the job and its expectations changed on a daily basis. At Susquehanna University, Miles studied creative writing with minors in sports media and philosophy. Miles brings his exceptional writing to preparing federal funding requests (competitive grants and Congressional earmarks) and to his business development role.

Outside of the office you can find Miles writing and/or reading fiction, browsing local bookstores, listening to his collection of vinyl records, watching sports, or spending time with friends and family.
