Thomas joined the MM team to help nonprofit organizations access the wide variety of funding available through federal and state programs. As a native Idahoan, Thomas has seen firsthand the vital services that nonprofits and local governments provide for communities of all sizes.
Before Merchant McIntyre, Thomas worked as a Government Relations Intern at Capitol Associates, advocating to policymakers for the needs of rural health clinics and medical associations. It is in this role where he developed a strong appreciation for effective governance and the positive impacts that our elected leaders can have in our lives. Thomas also interned at GS Strategy Group, where he assisted clients in developing effective messaging through public opinion data, and at Project Vote Smart where he conducted election research.
Thomas received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania with a major in Political Science and minor in History (go Quakers!!). When not in the office, you will find Thomas on the golf course, enjoying a DC museum, or watching his hometown Boise State Broncos play on their unique blue turf.
